Wedding accessories vendor, Osuchukwu Jane Ezeakolam, has shared the story of a bride who canceled her wedding just three weeks before the big day because her fiancé refused to contribute financially.
Jane explained that the bride had booked a gown and made full payment after setting a wedding date. However, she failed to pick up the dress during the wedding week, and all attempts to reach her were unsuccessful as her number was switched off.
A month later, the bride called Jane to reveal that she had canceled the wedding. She explained that her fiancé did not contribute a single dime to the wedding preparations and would tell her to “go ahead and pay” whenever she reminded him about expenses like food and drinks.
Jane confirmed that she refunded the bride after hearing her reason for canceling.
