The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked President Bola Tinubu to begin preparing his handover notes, insisting that Nigerians have already made up their minds not to give him a second term in 2027.
Speaking at the PDP state secretariat in Yola on Friday, the party’s Organising Secretary in Adamawa State, Hamza Madagali, said the current administration had run out of goodwill and direction.
According to him, citizens have lost patience with the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he accused of failing the nation on governance, economy, and security.
Madagali added that the PDP’s recent ward congresses in Adamawa State proved that the opposition party remains united and ready to reclaim power at the national level.
He further argued that the composition of the APC’s National Convention committees was a clear signal that the ruling party’s days in power were numbered.
“Nigerians are wiser now; they now know the difference between original and fake. The only way out is to return the PDP back to power,” Madagali said.
The PDP chieftain assured that the party is positioning itself as the credible alternative Nigerians can trust to secure the future of their children and rebuild the country.
