Popular Nigerian artiste Keshinro Ololade, better known as Lil Kesh, has addressed fans for the first time following a life-threatening assault in Lagos that left him severely injured.
The ‘Shoki’ crooner was attacked on Wednesday, August 20, during which he sustained a stab wound to the neck. Reports also revealed that part of his ear was cut off in the incident but was later reattached through surgery.
In addition to his injuries, the attackers allegedly made away with his jewellery. The incident sparked widespread concern among fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom offered prayers and support.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Lil Kesh broke his silence with a reassuring message to his supporters:
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers.”
His statement quickly went viral, drawing an outpouring of relief and well-wishes from admirers who expressed gratitude for his survival and hoped for his full recovery.
