The much-talked-about clash between Big Soso and Dede on Big Brother Naija Season 10, which erupted on August 24, 2025, has resurfaced after Big Soso gave her side of the story in a trending interview.

Big Soso, alongside fellow evicted housemates Ivatar and Doris, spoke with Princess on Yup Weekly Tea, where she addressed the root of the heated confrontation. She explained that her issue with Dede was more about neglect and self-centeredness than just the viral “fish” comment.

The fight began after Dede jokingly referred to housemates Kola, Koyin, and Jason Jae as her “three fishes.” Big Soso, who called them “her boys,” found the comment offensive, sparking a war of words between the two.

However, Big Soso revealed the tension had been building for weeks. She claimed that Dede consistently refused to help in the kitchen, even when officially assigned to do so.

• “The kitchen is a safe space for me. Cooking is emotional, and it brings people together. But whenever Dede was assigned to assist me, she refused, and that frustrated me,” Soso explained.
