The Action Alliance (AA) has clarified its position amidst reports linking it to pro-Tinubu groups in Ondo State. In a statement released by Chairman Abdullah Olowokere, the party emphasized that the Progressive Network for Tinubu (PNT) has no affiliation with AA at either the state or national level.
Olowokere criticized the promoters of PNT and dismissed claims that the party participated in any agreements allegedly facilitated by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. He specifically refuted statements from the Ondo State APC chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, calling them erroneous and misleading.
Under the leadership of national chairman Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, the Action Alliance remains an independent political entity. Olowokere reaffirmed that AA will not enter into alliances with any pro-Tinubu organizations, including PNT, highlighting that the party’s focus is on remaining pragmatic, determined, and politically autonomous.
This clarification reinforces AA’s commitment to political independence while countering misinformation circulating about its affiliations.
