Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci is set to make history once again — this time with a record-breaking jollof rice attempt at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.
Ahead of the big event, Hilda reassured fans about hygiene standards by personally washing the massive six-metre-wide pot that will be used for the cook. In a video shared on her Instagram page, the chef could be seen inside the custom-made pot, scrubbing its interior with a branded detergent.
“Yes, I can confirm this pot is squeaky clean! I rolled up my sleeves and washed it myself,” she captioned, while tagging the detergent brand.
Joking about her unusual position inside the pot, she added: “I know you’re wondering why I’m in here — it’s simple, I need to wash the pot before cooking begins.”
